Abbas ibn Ali Complex holds an iftar banquet for visitors on first day of holy Ramadan (+Photos)

The Abbas ibn Ali (peace be upon him) Service Complex for Visitors, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, held an iftar meal for the fasting individuals as part of its service programs during the holy month of Ramadan.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Abbas ibn Ali (peace be upon him) Service Complex for Visitors, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, held an iftar meal for the fasting individuals as part of its service programs during the holy month of Ramadan.

The supervisor of the complex, Mr. Jawad Al-Hasnawi, said, "The complex is keen on providing Iftar meals for the visitors, especially during Thursday nights, which witness a large influx toward the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them)."

He added that "the complex provided more than 2,500 complete main meals on the first Friday eve of the holy month, in addition to distributing more than 9,200 cold and hot drinks, to serve the large numbers of families heading to the city of Karbala."

Al-Hasnawi explained that "providing such large numbers in one night reflects a high level of organization and a great spirit of dedication, especially since it comes as part of the tradition followed every Friday eve of the blessed month of Ramadan, with the aim of providing comfort to the visitors heading to perform the Ziyarat rituals."

The Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) complex is considered one of the most important service facilities affiliated with the holy shrine. It is located on the road connecting the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala, providing comprehensive services to the visitors heading to perform the Ziyarat rituals.
